With the realization of guide books and listed power levels you realize how absurd this What if is. Bardock has a power level of 10,000, and even if he had super saiyan as a 50x multiplier that makes him 500,000. Still 30,000 under this form of Frieza. That said, my head canon is that Frieza didn't have his coffee today and wasn't feelin it, which is how Bardock and the crew won.

They REALLY tried hard to make this fit a story somehow. "Before he died, Bardock saw a vision where he meets his grandchildren... and beats them up"
